Suicide bomber kill 10 in Borno abbattoir

A suspected member of dreaded Boko Haram sect believed to be a suicide bomber sneaked into the Maiduguri Abattoir at Cattle Market (Kasuwan Shanu) killing 10 people while scores sustained injuries during the attack.
The incident took place on Tuesday at about 1:25pm when the market and the abattoir was at its peak with crowded traders and buyers.
This is coming less than 24 hours when a suicide bomber who attempted to sneak into Biu, one of the second largest town in southern part of the state was accosted by men of the civilian JTF at the entrance who were on routine check, but when the suicide bomber realized that he will be thoroughly interrogated when reaching the check-point, he decided to detonate the explosives he was carrying killing only himself.
Similarly, residents of Maiduguri metropolis had a sleepless night as sounds of gunshots and explosives rocked the city overnight as military engaged some terrorists who attempted to invade the city through Moramti and Dala villages.
