Former Gov. Murtala Nyako returns to Yola

Adamawa– The former Governor of Adamawa, Murtala Nyako, on Saturday returned to Yola, after staying 10 months outside the country.
Nyako, who was welcomed by a large crowd at the Yola International Airport, arrived at about 11 a.m and drove in a convoy to the Specialist Hospital and Federal Medical Centre, Yola to console victims of June 4, bomb blast in Yola.
Addressing supporters who later besieged his residence, Nyako thanked them for the solidarity.

“I want to thank the people of Adamawa for their contribution in voting PDP out of office.
“We need to support big brother Buhari, who will deliver,” Nyako said.
He said that he had been vindicated by what had happened since his removal from office and up to the formation of the new government.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that Nyako was impeached on July 15, 2014 and has since been living in Europe. (NAN)
